On 05/02/06 there were a total of seven car burglaries to vehicles parked in the area of the recreation fields at Herbert and City Center. The property taken from each vehicle was primarily wallets and purses containing credit cards and cash. Subsequent to these burglaries from 1945hrs until 2345hrs., the stolen credit cards were used to purchase gasoline at locations beginning at Herbert and Nova Circle K, and continuing north on Nova at Citgo Big Tree and Nova, Hess Beville and Nova, Shell Bellvue and Nova, and Shell at Bill France and International Speedway Blvd. There were multiple uses at several of these locations and approximately $500-$600.00 worth of gasoline ended up being charged on several different stolen credit cards, which is consistent with a recent pattern of stolen credit cards being used to purchase gas for associates of the suspect(s) at a discounted price.

On 05/03/06, the W/F pictured above attempted to use two of the stolen credit cards which had been cancelled at the McDonalds 1338 W. Intl. Spdwy. in Daytona Beach. No vehicle was seen at that time, but a witness to the burglaries recalled seeing a w/m in his late 20ís with short light colored hair driving from the scene in an 80ís model gray Jeep similar to what was captured on video purchasing gas with one of the stolen cards a short time later.
